A lot of thought went into the very pretty interiors of this hostel in Fontainhas. The owners repurposed a 100-year-old house to hold a café, an activity space and a boutique in addition to dorms for up to 16 guests. Two dorms are air conditioned while one has a fan; they also have one private room. Guests can mingle with each other in a common room over board games or in an upstairs chill-out area. Bathrooms are modern and well-lit, however, like the dorms, they are all co-ed. The dorms have basic bunk beds in a low-ceilinged space. Breakfast and wi-fi are complimentary. The café puts out fresh and affordable food from large breakfasts to lunch thalis.
