A homestay with a café and a store, Bate Papo can be found right in the heart of Saligao village. Amidst the bustle of village life, guests can relax in cosy, comfortable rooms with artsy touches. Guests rave about the hospitality shown by hosts Rohit and his wife Baneen. Doubling up as Chef, Rohit is also behind the much-lauded food at Bate Papo’s café which attracts diners from far and wide. Pets are welcome here and curiously, everything at the property is for sale if it catches your eye. This includes the antique four-poster bed you may sleep on or a painting hanging on the wall.
