Wonderful morning at Fontainhas
Review of: Fontainhas Heritage Walk
We spent a wonderful morning exploring the Fontainhas neighborhood with Lata. The tour is very well organized and the walk proceeds smoothly at a nice pace. Lata is knowledgeable and passionate about Goa and being a Portuguese it was wonderful to discuss our common heritage with her. She was very gracious and made some very good suggestions for the rest of our stay in Goa.

Excellent and worth it!!!
Review of: Old Goa Heritage Walk
I have only good things to say about this walk. First let me talk about our tour presenter and STAR Ms. Amreen!! Luckily for us, she happened to be a history major student and boy was she good!! Loaded with information and an absolute gem to show you around. She kept us involved and intrigued throughout the trip. I have never been so lost (in a good way) and mesmerised on a tour or a walk ever. Oh she’s just amazing. Loved how she patiently waited for all of us to gather, explained everything so nicely and also waited so that we could take good pictures. She was the main reason why I decided to do more walks with Make It Happen 🙂 Fellow travelers, I am telling you, this walk is a fantastic one to do if you want to get to know more about Old Goa and add value to your trip.
Thank you Make It Happen. I am going to come back in March to do the rest of your tours!!! 🙂

One of the most authentic tours of Goa!
Review of: Chronicles and Echoes of Divar Island
We had heard of Make It Happen from Facebook and were a bit hesitant to go ahead with the tour at first. However, after speaking to Murali, we were relaxed and were looking forward to the tour.
Deepak, our tour guide, filled our mind with so much of knowledge and history – all this while we were experiencing the beautiful Divar island. He is very knowledgeable and made our time very worth it. So 5 stars to him!
I highly recommend anyone looking to do a tour in Goa to do it through Make It Happen. Their team is very professional, positive and will go out of their way to give you a unique experience.
I have done only one tour with them so far, but I’m definitely going to try out the other tours that they conduct.
5/5 to the Make It Happen team!

One of the best Food trails ever!
Review of: Goan Feni & Tapas – Food Trail with Tastings & Drinks by Make It Happen
Being a foodie myself, I had lots of plans to explore Goa and it’s good culture. Especially fenny tastings! Thanks to one of my friends about Make It Happen in Goa and oh boy! I am glad that I had the opportunity to go for their exclusive Food trail on Fenny and Tapas tour.
Never knew, old Goa had such beautiful places and classic pubs. Had the chance to taste coconut Feni, cashew fenny, recheado mackerel fish fry, kokum fenny and more. The entire trail’s food and beverages were inclusive of cost which was 2.5k for me.
Would definitely suggest this to all my friends and family.
If you are in Goa, you better not miss this tour ❤️
Thank you guys Make It Happen 🙏

Goa beyond rave parties and alcohol
Review of: Campal Heritage Walk
There would exist Goa with history and no parties – I’d never imagined. But thanks to Make It happen, I learned more, I had a private live performance in a podium, came to know of Goa being a union territory and later thankfully not being merged into Maharashtra!

If in Panjim, DO SPARE 2 HOURS for this tour and I am sure your minds will blow out!

Not to be missed
Review of: Goan Feni & Tapas – Food Trail with Tastings & Drinks by Make It Happen
This was a special evening curated for us and a dozen others by Murali and his gang. It was an evening spent walking through the lanes of Fontainhas on Christmas Day. On such an occasion the little locality is transformed into a magical place. Lata & John Rodrigues led the walk, giving a recount of the history of the city, describing the various details of the houses, their decorations and shepherding the flock so to speak through the narrow lanes of Fontainhas. Lata had organised it so that the group could get a taste of the typical Goan sweets at 31st January Bakery, which the proprietor kept open specially for us. The walk ended over cocktails and dinner at Venite. If you’re ever in Panjim on Christmas then this is a walk highly recommended.

Definitely make it happen with MAKE IT HAPPEN!
Review of: Chronicles and Echoes of Divar Island
I signed up for two trips with Make it Happen-Divar island by car and Fontainhas Heritage walk. Both are worth it. Both are appropriate for all age groups.
We did both on the same day-Divar in the first half and Fontainhas in the 2nd half.
Our hosts were Deepak (Divar) and Ameez (Fontainhas). Both were very knowledgeable, polite and excellent hosts.
Divar was such a revelation! And the lunch at the Portuguese home was awesome!
The walk in Fontainhas is also lovely. Totally enjoyed the Portuguese music live performance, the gorgeous Portuguese homes and the baked treats.
If you’re in Goa, just sign up for these trips, don’t think. You won’t regret it.

Goa Beyond the Beach with Make it Happen
Review of: Fontainhas Heritage Walk
I recently did the Fontainhas Heritage Tour with Make it Happen, and is the second walking tour I’ve done with this excellent company, having done the Campal Heritage Walk with them last year. I wanted to introduce my mum who was visiting Goa for the first time to Panjim’s Latin Quarter and it was really a wonderfully thought out walking tour, with a young, knowledgeable young guide, who clearly is really passionate about what she does. I have, in the course of my career, done many, many walking tours throughout India, and Make It Happen have consistently proven that they really are the go to company in Goa if you want to experience Goa beyond the beaches, and discover the heart and soul of it’s culture, history and cuisine. I can’t wait to do their Feni and Tapas Food Trail very soon! Thanks to Maria and team.

A day to remember
Review of: Fontainhas Heritage Walk
Been to Panjim many times but today our eyes were opened on our guided walk through the famous Fontainhas district.
How could we have been coming to Goa so often and missed so much?
Our guide, Lata’s knowledge of the history of Goa and the Portuguese influence in the state was first class. She brought history to life as she guided us through the narrow streets and squares of the district.
We thoroughly enjoyed seeing inside the old Hindu guest house and the beautiful home and artefacts of Mr Chico’s Catholic home and tasting tempting treats from one of the oldest bakeries in the city.
It was a fabulous afternoon walk. An easy walk that all could enjoy. One that has left us with many happy memories.
Highly recommended
