Cajy Bar is a family-run business, originally established by Caitano Fernandes, and now carried forward by the third generation. The local Goan food is still prepared by Philomena, while the drinks are crafted by her son, Eligio. It serves as a local community space where people from various areas gather to enjoy food and drinks in an atmosphere of harmony and love.
The food is especially beloved by locals, while tourists quickly become fans. Signature dishes include Pork Ard Mass, Beef Tongue Roast, Beef and Pork Stew, as well as favorites like Beef Croquettes, Garlic Poi, Chicken Lollipop, and Beef Skewers. The bar mainly offers straight pours alongside a few flavorful mixes, with the crowd favorite being the local Cashew Feni.
