What are azulejos?

Do I need any prior experience with ceramics or painting?
No experience is necessary! The workshop is beginner-friendly and guided step-by-step by an instructor. -

What materials are included?
All necessary materials are provided, including ceramic tiles, paint, brushes. Firing of the tiles is also part of the workshop. -
Can I take my tile home after the workshop?
Yes, but if the tile requires kiln firing, you may need to pick it up a few days later or have it shipped to you. This will be explained during the session. -
Is the workshop suitable for children?
Yes! Many azulejos workshops are family-friendly. Minimum age recommendations may apply, such as 6 or 8 years old, depending on the workshop provider. -
How many tiles will I paint?
Most workshops include painting one tile per participant. You may have the option to paint more for an additional fee. -

Once fired, the tiles are generally water-resistant and durable, but they are best used for decorative purposes unless specified otherwise. -

Children’s of age group above 6 years and any age group who has interest in doing this workshop. -

The highlight of the tour was a musical performance organised exclusively for us, with a talent young lady singing songs in Konkani, Portuguese, and Spanish on a ukulele.
It's a must-do for anyone wanting to connect with the roots of the city.
Hinaz showed us the portuguese quarter with a lot of interesting information, typical sweets and meeting an elderly Goan Gentleman, who played local folksongs for us. It was lovely!
Sejal did the Feni and Tapas Tour with us and it was just a good time, with a lot of laughs and sooo good food and Feni.
