about-experience

Highlights

  • Discover Chandor’s past as a flourishing kingdom and trading hub to centuries-old dynasties, and discover the intriguing legend of an ancient ‘Queen’s Curse’.
  • Enjoy an archaeological goldmine of 11th century temple ruins and carefully preserved statues.
  • Explore a piece of living history as we visit a 500-year-old heritage home that predates the Portuguese era in Goa. Hear intriguing tales of its various past occupants who have contributed to the home’s rich and ever-evolving history, making it the iconic landmark it is today. The home also houses a treasure trove of artifacts that have been collected over the years – including ancient artefacts dating as far back as the Kadamba era.
  • Visit the mansion of an Indo-Portuguese family who were considered nobility during the colonial Portuguese period.
  • Soak in the natural beauty of Chandor, as we walk up to a local chapel atop a small hillock and enjoy scenic views along the Kushavati river.
