Unusual for India, Good Karma is a thrift store chock-full of clothing, home decor, books, jewellery, and antiques. Driven by a desire to minimise waste in general and textile waste in particular, the folks behind Good Karma Treasure Shop (GKTS) are bringing back values once inherent to Indian life – reuse, recycle, and let nothing go to waste. You can find GKTS in Vagator and in pop-ups across Goa. The space is quirky and bohemian – books hang on clothes hangers, store displays are composed of upcycled materials and colourful tapestries hang on the walls. Regular thrifters know that thrifting is like going on a little adventure and GKTS provides you with just that kind of experience.

Beyond fashion, books, and decor, GKTS also has a selection of incense, crystals, and meditation tools. Whether you enjoy spiritual pursuits or feel strongly about sustainable consumption, GKTS is a space you will feel at home in. Keeping their zero-waste values front and centre, GKTS gives away dead stock for free and regularly hosts barter days. A portion of the store’s proceeds also go to NGOs.
