An ode to the village tavern, this tastefully done bar in Benaulim village, South Goa does beautiful cocktails and Goan good in comfortable, modern surrounds. Interiors and furnishings are inspired by the old but done in contemporary materials. It looks like a quaint old-world tavern but feels very much like a bar of today. Pickled amla, curry leaves, passion fruit and citrus elevate the feni cocktail here and sangria concoctions abound. Goan dishes like mackerel cutlets, breadfruit chips, and marinated chicken make hearty companions for the finely crafted libations on offer.
